Waste Management

Early Start Time for Curbside Collection- On a temporary basis, during July and August, the Town has agreed to allow Nauset Disposal to begin curbside collections at 6:30 am. Residents are asked to put their Trash and Recycling out for collection either the night before or prior to 6:30 am.
The Waste Management Facility is located at 458 Thomas B. Landers Road, Falmouth
Open Hours: Tuesday - Saturday, 7:45 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
Closed: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's Day.

When the town "dump" was capped in 1999, it was replaced by the Waste Management Facility. This facility functions as a transfer station, everything that comes here must be sorted and stored for eventual recycling or disposal elsewhere. Therefore, it is vital that loads entering the gate be packed to facilitate easy and quick separation.

At this time, there is NO recycling of household materials (paper, cardboard, bottles, cans) at the Waste Management Facility. Nauset Disposal will pick up your household recycling at curbside. Click here for Recycling Pickup Information.

Transfer Station stickers must be purchased via mail- there are NO in-person sales.
The Town Collector's office is responsible for the sale of stickers.
