The Parks Department & Baxter Crane will be removing two large Elm trees on Main Street (Library side) Tuesday November 2nd . This will require the section of Main Street from Library Lane to Shore Street extension to be closed off and detoured to Katherine Lee Bates while work is being performed. All pedestrian traffic on the Library lawn sidewalk will blocked for safety, but the opposite side will remain open for shopping. Sign boards will be set up on Friday to give advanced notice of detour and parking restrictions.
