Residential Curbside Trash Collection serves most houses, condominiums and apartment buildings with fewer than five units by a weekly curbside trash pickup which is financed by town property taxes. Each residence is permitted up to 3 containers weekly (not to exceed 32 gallon capacity each.) Trucks will collect between the hours of 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. Whenever a scheduled collection day falls on a holiday, that day's collection and all remaining collections for the week will be delayed one day.
The current Town of Falmouth observed holidays are as follows:
• New Year's Day
• Patriots Day
• Memorial Day
• Juneteenth
• Independence Day
• Labor Day
• Indigenous People's Day
• Veterans Day
• Thanksgiving Day
• Christmas
When one of these holidays falls on a normal pick-up day, regular collection will take place the following day and this will continue for the rest of the week, including Saturday. Sign up for email/text alerts & notifications regarding delayed trash pickup or other information in our NotifyMe Center.
When to Recycle
Your recycling day will be your regular rubbish day, but only every other week. Just remember to put your filled bin out next to your regular household rubbish by 7 a.m
