As employees leave their summer jobs to return to school, the Beach Dept. is faced with adjusting numbers of staff at each of the 10 public beaches in the Town of Falmouth. This record will be updated to share what sites are no longer or partially staffed. As of Tuesday, September 5, the status of the beaches is as follows:
Not staffed: No Parking Attendants, No Lifeguards
- M.B.L.'s Stoney Beach
- Megansett
- Bristol
- Surf Drive & its Mill Rd. Extension
- Woodneck
- Menauhant
- Chapoquoit
- Falmouth Heights
- Grew's Pond at Goodwill Park
- Old Silver (weekdays)
Staffed with Lifeguards & Parking Attendants
- Old Silver (weekends only, 9a-4p, weather-permitting/staff availability-dependent)
