EV UPDATE: *The Autel EV Fast Charging Unit is installed but not operational just yet. We are waiting for Eversource to install a transformer on the pole then interconnect the EV Charger to the electric Grid. Parking lines will be painted next Tuesday, June 18th weather permitting. We'll offer another update once the Charger is ready for Public use!
Previous Announcement: Eversource and Commonwealth Electric will be installing a new Electric Vehicle Charging Station at Peg Noonan Parking Lot, featuring two port connector cables, from Thursday, May 30 to Friday, June 14, weather permitting. The project will include wiring, trenching, paving, and unit installation. Please note that parking will be limited in the EV area during this period. Approved work hours are 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday to Friday. Occasional work may extend beyond the approved hours due to unforeseen circumstances, based on approval from municipal staff.
We will provide a future update when Eversource schedules the transformer installation necessary to connect the charger to the grid.
