Construction for the Upper Coonamessett River Restoration Project in Falmouth will begin early January 2025 with completion tentatively planned for July 2025. The walking trails at the project site will be closed to the public during construction. The parking area at 170 Hatchville Road will also be closed to the public during construction.
Alternative hiking areas include: the Souza and Dupee parcels to the north and Wald-Fender and Shallow Ponds parcels to the west.
