At the most recent drought task force meeting held July 9th, 2025, the MA Drought Task Force Team announced the Cape Region would be downgraded to a Level 1 Mild Drought. The Town of Falmouth Water Department follows the State of Massachusetts’s recommendation and guidance on drought restrictions.
Currently, our water restrictions have shifted to Level 1 Mild Drought permitting outdoor watering use to 1 day per week before 9:00am and after 5:00pm.
- Even number homes / business (last digit of your address – 0,2,4,6, or 8) and no address number homes – Tuesday’s only until further notice.
- Odd number homes (last digit of your address – 1,3,5,7,9) – Thursday’s only until further notice
