Effective Monday 10-27-2025 to 11-5-2025

• Beginning Monday October 27th, 2025, Sandwich Rd (between Brick Kiln Rd and Teaticket HWY) will be closed to through traffic due to the continued water main construction. This portion of the project requires CC Construction to dig across the roadway to install the new water services to each home and business
• Local traffic will have access from either Brick Kiln Rd at Sandwich Rd or Teaticket HWY at Sandwich Rd.
  • The starting closure location will begin with the roadway closed on Sandwich Rd at address #240 Sandwich Rd, working South towards Teaticket HWY.
  • (Day #1 – 10-27-2025 up to approximately Berrihill Circle). 
• This traffic detour is anticipated to last 10 business days (weather permitting) and be completed by November 5th, 2025, at days end.
• School Buses, Police, Fire and EMS will have access through this detoured area at ALL times. (police details will be on scene.)
• The roadway will be closed between the working hours of 9am and 3pm M-F. 
• Commercial vehicles are prohibited from detouring down Trotting Park Road.  Large commercial vehicles ONLY will be instructed to follow a truck detour from Sandwich Rd to Oxbow Rd to Teaticket HWY to Jones Rd to Gifford St or Gifford St to Jones Rd to Teaticket HWY to Oxbow Rd to Sandwich Rd.
