As Labor Day nears, many staff return to school and to athletic teams. As a result, some beaches will be open but will not be staffed. That means they will not be lifeguards or parking attendants available at all beaches. However, there might be lifeguards and no PA or vise versa. The following is a tentative schedule for beach staffing.
The following beaches will no longer be staffed with lifeguards and or parking attendants. All other beaches will remain staffed until further notice.
Stoney Beach Unstaffed for the rest of 2017
Megansett Beach Unstaffed for the rest of 2017
Good Will Park Unstaffed for the rest od 2017
Wood Neck Beach Unstaffed for the rest of 2017
Mill Rd. Unstaffed for the rest of 2017
Bristol Beach Unstaffed as of August 26, 2017
Chapoquoit Beach No lifeguards, PA only as of Thursday, August 24, 2017
Menauhant Beach Unstaffed as of Saturday, August 26, 2017
Surf Dr. Beach No PA, lifeguards only as of Tuesday, August 29, 2017
Heights, and Old Silver will remain fully staffed
