Interested in oyster harvesting in the 2017 early fall oyster season? A training on preventing and limiting the post-harvest growth of Vibrio parahaemolyticus (Vibrio) bacteria in oysters will be offered on:

Training should take less than one hour and is open to all Falmouth recreational and commercial shellfish permit holders.
Commercial harvesters not certified as trained, will not be allowed to harvest oysters in the early fall 2017 oyster season.
Recreational harvesters are not required to complete training.
