On January 1st, 2018, the 9th edition to the Massachusetts State building code will take effect. The building department will be hosting state inspector Rob Anderson on Tuesday December 12th, at the Morse Pond Elementary School, from 6:30 PM until 9:00 PM. Rob Anderson will explain the code changes from the current 8th edition to the upcoming 9th edition. We encourage as many as possible to attend this informative seminar to learn what will be required for new permit applications and building projects.
Mr. Anderson is the states designated education director for the Department of Public Safety. He is an expert on the Mass building code and the upcoming code changes.
