[ARCHIVED] Workshop on Best Practices for Sober Home Management - Scholarships Available

Building and Sustaining a Successful Sober Home Business - Best Practices for Sober Home Management Workshop: Offered as a part of the upcoming Cape Cod Symposium on Addictive Disorders on Thursday, September 5th, 8:30am - 5pm at the Cape Cod Resort and Conference Center, 35 Scudder Avenue, Hyannis.

A full day of learning and discussion for sober home owners and managers that will include topics such as:

  • How and Why You Should Measure Outcomes of Your Sober Living Program
  • Best Practices in Engaging Alumni
  • The Benefits of Peer Support Specialists and Recovery Coaching
  • How to Avoid Conflict With Your Community: Best Practices on Working With Your State, Neighbors and Zoning Board

The Falmouth Commission on Substance Use is offering a limited number of scholarships, on a first come first served basis, for Falmouth sober house owners and managers to attend this workshop.  If interested contact Suzie Hauptmann, Director of the Town of Falmouth Human Services Department at 508-548-0533 x16.
