Workshop to include:
- Hear about the benefits of a recovery-friendly workplace from a local business owner and employee
- A brief presentation on a recent study that found 65% of all overdose deaths in Barnstable County were of individuals in the Trades and Service Industries
- Introduction to an Employer Toolkit that addresses substance misuse and the workplace
- Cost calculator for employers to calculate what substance misuse is costing their business
- Local resources for those impacted by substance use disorder
- Overdose education, intervention training and Narcan distribution
