We will have two work crews again next week.
On Main Street we have almost all the interconnections done to the Gifford/King intersection. We have three fire services between Post Office Square and Shore Street to tie in and we expect to do those early in the week. Detour will be on to Katherine Lee Bates. When those are completed we will move to connecting up house services between King Street and Nye Road – Detour will then be King to Queen to Scranton. We have learned that large trucks do not make the corner of Nye and Queen easily. For this area of work we will do clean up and paving on Friday.
The other crew will start the week at the Sandwich Road/Teaticket Highway intersection. We have a short segment of Sewer as well as a Sewer Service that crosses Teaticket Highway. We anticipate that we will detour at the Maravista Ave Extension light and Sandwich Road on Monday and Tuesday. On Wednesday the plan is to tie Sandwich Road water main on to the new water main. On Thursday we will continue going from Sandwich Road towards the Jones Road lights installing building services and side street connections. We will be paving at the end of each day on Teaticket Highway.
