TEMPORARY POWER OUTAGES

    Early this morning, Falmouth experienced widespread power outages affecting customers throughout Town.  We understand that at one time, 20,000 – 25,000 Falmouth customers have been without power.  We are also advised that significant portions of Martha’s Vineyard have been without power.  EverSource representatives advise that they are working diligently to resolve this situation.  The Town continues to be in regular communication with EverSource representatives on this matter.  

    Depending upon your individual circumstances, we encourage all residents to shelter in place if possible as this situation is addressed.  Those on the roadways are asked to exercise caution as some traffic signals may be temporarily without power as well.  Should you have an emergency, as at all times, please call 911.  Thank you.
