The Town of Falmouth Commission on Substance Use (FCSU) is pleased to announce the availability of its 2022 Micro Grants Awards. A variety of Falmouth based projects will be considered in awarding these funds in awarding these funds including, but not limited to, sober home scholarships*, educational events regarding recovery and/or substance use awareness, recovery supports, or support for harm reduction efforts.
Please use the attached form to outline your funding needs. The FCSU will be awarding a total of six (6) micro grants in the following amounts: $500 awards (2) and $250 awards (4). In documenting your request, you must specify which award you're seeking.
Applicants are encouraged to attend the FCSU meeting on April 21, 2022, to discuss their proposal. Notifications will be made Monday April 25th. Projects and events must take place, and funds spent, prior to June 30, 2022.
*Sober home scholarships must come with a referral recommendation from a local substance use serving agency.
