Water sample test results from Woodneck River (the Little Sippewissett Marsh side) processed on 8/24/22, indicated elevated bacteria present in the ocean water. We’re awaiting further test results, but per procedure with current guidance, no swimming signs are being posted. Parking Attendants on duty from 9 a.m. - 4:45 p.m. will ensure those entering the parking lot are made aware of this exceedance. Additional information, and updates, will be posted as they become available to Beach Department staff.
