POSTED ON: OCTOBER 26, 2022 - Notice to Falmouth Taxpayers
The Falmouth Board of Assessors has received preliminary certification from the Massachusetts Department of Revenue for its property valuations for Fiscal Year 2023. Revaluation is mandated by State Statue and must be conducted every five years to ensure that all property is at “Full and Fair Market Value”. The assessed values in every community in the Commonwealth for Fiscal Year 2023 must reflect fair market value as of January 1, 2022, based on sales that occurred during calendar year 2021.
As part of the public disclosure, these proposed assessments are available at the Falmouth Town Hall Assessing Department (59 Town Hall Square, Wednesday October 26th – Tuesday November 4th, 9:00am to 4:00pm ~ Phone: (508) 495-7380).
