[ARCHIVED] Beach Info

It has come to our attention that the jellyfish have arrived. This is normal when the August heat brings warm water.

The jellyfish are of the moon jelly variety about 4-6 inches across with four distinctive horse shoe shaped muscles in the mantle and tentacles in the 3-5 inch range.

Some people will feel some discomfort or pain when coming in contact with these jellyfish. If stung, see the lifeguard if your beach is still staffed. If stung and your beach does not have lifeguards, seek medical attention

where available.
