We will work our way next week from Maravista Ave extension lights up to the Sandwich Road intersection.
That is where we will end the 16 inch main construction for the Spring Season.
On Thursday and Friday we will be at the intersection of Sandwich Road and Teaticket Highway.
We will be connecting the 16 inch main to the existing 8 inch main at that location.
The 3 inch temporary pavement will remain in place through the summer.
Over the two following weeks we will be doing some ancillary work – flushing and testing the new main.
We also anticipate that where Teaticket highway is wide enough to maintain two way traffic that we will be installing some hydrants on the side of the road, and making a couple of tie ins of side streets.
Special thanks this week to the Teaticket School and the Police for working with us to get across the traffic light intersection on Thursday as quick as possible.
