As the summer winds down, we will be starting back up with the construction of the water main.
On Tuesday September 3rd the Contractor will re-mobilize.
From Tuesday September 3rd to through Friday September 6th he will be saw cutting pavement from Oxbow Road and Teaticket Highway west on Teaticket Highway all the way back to Sandwich Road.
We will be preparing all of the locations where we need to excavate to move existing house/business services from the old main to the new main.
We will also be preparing all of the locations where we need to tie the water mains on the side streets to the new main.
We will be posting our electronic billboards to begin alerting the general public.
We will give several days notice to any residents, or side streets where we have to shut water off for a short duration – typically 2 to 4 hours – to make the transfer of service complete.
