Next week’s construction will involve moving existing water services off of the old main and on to the new main.
We will commence at 612 Teaticket Highway just to the west of Falmouth Lumber.
Expectation is that we will complete 3 or 4 services each day. We will monitor our progress and update our projections as we go through the first week.
The attached work area map covers the area we will be working in Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. An updated map will be issued on Tuesday afternoon for the balance of the week.
Locations with red stars are services that we will be moving over.
Property owners will be notified, ideally, two days before we actually do the work. On the day that we will be doing the work we will knock on doors and give a warning.
We expect that we will need 2 to 4 hours to relocate each service.
Work hours will be 7 AM to 5 PM daily. There will be traffic impacts.
One lane of traffic will be maintained at all times.
