We are paving the temporary service trenches today (Friday 2/21).
All of the temporary services are now relocated and we will be going back to installation of the 16 inch water main next week.
We will begin at Nye Road and Main Street and will be going towards Scranton Ave.
We need to remove the existing 8 inch main ahead of installing the new main so we will not go as quickly as we did on the previous segments.
Goal is to install 180 feet each day. In four days we will be short of Scranton Ave, but near it.
On Friday next week we will pave the trench.
Road from Nye to Scranton will be closed to through traffic. Open to local business from each end.
Auto detour is Nye to Queen to Scranton.
Truck detour is King to Clinton to Scranton.
