As the warmer weather and yard activities quickly approach, MES would like to remind property owners of the towns Nitrogen Control (Fertilizer) by-law which governs the use and application restrictions of law fertilizer in the town. Please see the fertilizer information provided. As a reminder, no fertilizer (nitrogen) is allowed prior to April 15th or after October 16th and fertilizing is not allowed on any portion of a property which is within 100’ of a defined Resource Area pursuant to FWR 10.02(1a-d).
