Water main construction will be proceeding down Main Street beginning Tuesday, December 31st. Beginning in front of the entrance to St. Barnabas Church we will be installing a 16" water main going eastward.
There will be one lane alternating traffic up to Post Office Road. After that traffic will be detoured to Kathy Lee Bates Rd on a block by block basis. Each block will be posted as a no parking zone to allow construction to move as quickly as possible.
We expect to install a least 150 feet each day will need 3-4 days for each block of work.
Pavement is only available one day each week, typically this will be Friday.
We will backfill and compact the trench each night but travel will be a little rough
