Next week we will be doing a key piece of the water main project and will be working Tuesday and Wednesday and possibly Thursday at the intersection of Locust Street and Main Street.
To do this requires that we detour the traffic during our daytime work hours – currently 7AM to 5PM.
The detour is set up to accommodate truck traffic – it is shown on the attached map.
Going south it will be down Katherine Lee Bates to Shore Street, across Main Street and down Shore Street to Surf Drive.
Surf Drive to Mill Road and Mill Road to Locust Street.
Area will be open to local traffic from either end.
We realize this is a significant disruption and we ask you to share this notice with any and all entities that you believe could be impacted and would need to know about ahead of time.
