On Monday and Tuesday we will be going back to “Watson’s Corner” – the intersection of Locust, North Main and Main Street.
The road will be closed to through traffic with a detour route that goes from Woods Hole Road to Mill Road to Surf Drive to Shore Street to Katherine Lee Bates.
Most likely we will plate the trench on Monday night, finish the installation on Tuesday and then pave the road Tuesday afternoon.
Later half of next week we will be installing services on the new main working on Main Street from Locus Ave and heading eastward. We will also be installing hydrants on the new line from Locust Street to Gifford Street.
