In February of 2008, the Department of Housing and Community Development (DHCD) (now known as Executive Office of Housing and Livable Communities (EOHLC) enacted the Housing Production Plan (HPP) regulation 760 CMR 56.03(4). An HPP is a proactive strategy for planning and developing affordable housing and is certified by DHCD (now EOHLC). The term of a Plan is five years. Falmouth’s current certified HPP was drafted in 2018 and is due to expire January 2024.
Falmouth has engaged Horsley Witten Group and Barrett Planning, LLC to assist with drafting a new Housing Production Plan. We will be posting updates as we have them.
